Pique nique annuel (Ferme René Gravel) :

The Association held its annual picnic on August 7th, 2011 in St-Prosper de Champlain at René and Andrée Gravel's home. The menu was a Méchoui ( barbecue ) of pork and Blonde d'Aquitaine beef provided by the Gravel's.








We had the privilege of attending lectures by René Perreault, president of the Quebec Beef Producers Federation, and Claude Lavallée from the Joint Committee of Beef Breeds and spokesperson of the Inverness Beef Festival.


There was a treasure hunt organized by Andrée and René. We would like to thank the Gravel family for their warm welcome. Thank you !

 

There was 41 persons at the picnic this year, still hoping that more will participate next year.
